I retopologized the tent in 3DCoat, then took it into Substance Painter for baking and texturing. The color scheme was going to be as per Joshua's initial concept with the striped tents, so I applied a striped texture to the outer walls, masking off sections and using offset/rotate functions to ensure an even distribution. I also added some AO duplicate layers on top of the stripes to prevent the details from getting lost under the bright colors.

Stitching was added to the roof to tie the structure into the overall playfulness of the level, as well as a satin trim (reminiscent of the ruffled collars of clowns). Lastly, some generators and mud effects were added to simulate wear on the cloth edges and seams, as well as dust and dirt that has accumulated in any crevices over time.
